Justin Chenoweth

Technical Artist & CTO

Bridging 3D Art and Programming for Optimized Simulation Assets

Justin bridges the gap between technical development and visual design as CoAxiom's Chief Technology Officer and lead technical artist. His dual expertise in 3D asset creation and programming enables him to build optimized simulation environments that balance visual fidelity with performance requirements.

At the EARTh Center, Justin develops educational technology assets and interactive 3D experiences for STEM learning applications. His technical art approach emphasizes efficient polygon counts, optimized texture usage, and shader performance for browser-based WebGL deployment.

With a background in lean manufacturing operations, Justin understands industrial environments and can accurately model equipment, facilities, and manufacturing processes for training simulations. He specializes in creating modular asset systems that allow for rapid scenario development and easy client customization.

Justin's programming knowledge allows him to work directly in Unity to implement shaders, particle effects, and interactive systems—bridging the traditional divide between art and engineering teams.
