Training Simulation
Working safely on a waste site requires knowing not only which PPE to wear, but how and when to equip it. In this sim, you will practice identifying the appropriate PPE for different hazard classes and learn the proper order in which to put on each piece of gear. You will encounter a variety of waste-site hazards and make decisions about the equipment needed to work safely in each situation. The simulation will finish with a test that requires you to independently select and equip the correct PPE for a given hazard scenario. It can be retaken multiple times, allowing you to practice with different hazards and reinforce safe procedures.
Learning the essentials of waste site PPE prcedures remotely, through a repeatable immersive experience, allows them to practice systematically meeting the relevant OSHA standards for proper waste site safety.
Acquire knowledge about the PPE required for working on a waste site.
Identify the proper order to equip each piece of gear.
Identify different sets of equipment and different equip orders required for different levels of site safety.
Learning about the PPE required to navigate a waste site reduces the likelihood of OSHA standard violations during waste site inspection, reducing costs of compliance in turn.
